  1. Personally don't recommend MSI for any graphic design. Had one for a while and could not for the life of me get the screen to display colors correctly. I ended up having to use my old laptop.

  2. This really helps me… I’m 28 and buying my second computer ever. I need it for work and less for school like my student computer. You tough me a lot in just this 1 video

  3. How sad, i looked for the prices of the Dell XPS 15 to find out it costs about 40,000 LE here in Egypt, thank you though for the amazing video 🙂

  4. Hi Ben I took a look at a lot of reviews for the Dell XPS 15 GTX 1050, as I am a graphic design student with a failing computer, and there is a concern that has popped up. A lot of reviews are saying that when trying to run taxing programs on both the GPU and CPU the computer either lags horribly or even crashes and has to force a restart. Have you had any issues with this since you upgraded seven months ago?

  5. Hi Ben.
I am a 3D designer and use softwares like zbrush, Maya, keyshot etc. I wanna know if the HP Omen will be suitable for me. I have eyed one in with 12 GB of Ram, I7 and 17inch screen. Thanks in advance for helping me out.

  6. Hello Ben, the 4k display is great, but are u able to get the same resolution on an external display? (u use a second display right?)

  7. Hello~ what laptop would you recommend for concept art (sorry my English isn't good hope you will answer my comment :D) thought to buy Mac Pro 2018 but use it just for photoshop hah but seems pc screen colors looks… worse than Macs ….

  8. Thanks man,
I just bought razer blade gaming with 1060 2017 and it was not so good in illustrator software, while rendering 3D image . I was confused and now I am going to buy again dell xps 15 9560 and upgrade it with 32gig ram if that helps in graphic design. I tried Microsoft surface laptop but that was 4gig so No, and tried MacBook Pro 2016 13 that also was not doing the illustrator job well, I was using illustrator cc2018. I sold my xps15 9560 and bought razer blade for gaming as I was only playing games on xps 15 and that started to have shutdown problems. So sold it and got the Razer blade. Well I will go back to the shop tomorrow to ask for my dell xps 15 back. So I can flawlessly work on my illustrator projects. Can anyone plz tell me why razer blade 2017, 16gig 512ssd gtx1060 6gb took so much time to render a small 3D image ?

  9. This video convinced me to buy the xps 15- albeit the cheapest version for 1000. I am only a student so I can't pay so much money and I don't really need the absolute top of the line anyway, but ive encountered a problem. I bought the laptop thinking it was gonna have a FHD 1080p glossy finish screen like the 4k. Turns out the screen for the non-4k versions are all matte 🙁 Im heartbroken, half the reason I bought the laptop was because I thought it'd have that glorious glossy display but without the 300 dollars for a 4k that would reduce battery life anyway. I get my laptop in about 2 days but do you think the matte screen will be a problem since I'm using it for graphic design?? Since matte tends to dull colors while glossy makes then so vibrant. If anyone can input whether matte screens are bad for art purposes and I should just try to return it when I get it please let me know! I'm so disappointed and sad

  10. just needs your advice. I use Adobe illustrator. I am building a small pc starting with Ryzen 3 1200 with 8 gb of ram. Could you please help me find a budget graphics card around 50 Dollar. Or would you want me to buy a Ryzen 3 2200 G with integrated graphics which will eventually eat all the ram?. I at times do a bit of 3d revolves and bevel in illustrator. I now uses an Amd athlon II X2 260 3.20ghz processor. Is that sufficient really? Thank you

  11. I liked your video. I have just started into graphic designing. I plan to go for a HP laptop. Can you please tell me how to caliberate laptop screen to match your printed output.?
