  1. Insidious should not have been number one. It relies solely on jump scares and nothing else. If you watch it alone, late at night in the dark then yeah, it can scare you…one time but once you know where the scares are, it's kind of boring. No scary atmosphere. Definitely not worth pole position

  2. Lights Out is probably the best horror movie I've seen, mainly because it was the first, and so far only, horror film to make me full on shriek in the theater!

  3. Insidious is meh the pinky part that really got me was the one scene where the creature was just standing in the corner

  4. When I was younger the mothman was good. When I was younger it scared me (i was an utter chicken shit even afraid of fern gully as a child) but as an adult I absolutely love it. Plus the mothman just genuinely interests me. Also I did not know Sam Rami directed drag me to hell, I literally LIVE for the evil dead trilogy. Its one of my go to series when I want a pick me up.

  5. I have watched and loved everyone of these movies Excellent list…tiptoe through the tulips is terrufying to listen to now truly

  6. While not your classic type of horror, I thought 1408 was creepy as hell and should be somewhere on this list!!
